Flipped Learning is the HOW of Educational Reform

There have been a number of posts as of late about how the flipped classroom is a transitional pedagogy to deeper, richer, learning activities.  I wrote one:  The Flipped Class as a Transition to Deep 21st Century Learning and then Carolyn Durley posted one too:  Excuse Me, I think I am having a revoultion.  I want to share one more resource with you all which gets at this notion that the flipped class is the HOW we get to the learner centered, inquiry driven, problem based class of the future.  This is a video of Steve Kelly as he talks to the Michigan State Board of Education about the flipped class.  I think one of his best lines is that he was a good teacher…..for 1998… but that his kids needed something new and different…  Watch and enjoy.
