I think we are not afraid as iildvinuads but collectively, as a profession, maybe. It also goes beyond that, often after a stressful lesson or day in the classroom it is easier to look outside of the self for explanations. This means that we do not have to reflect and improve, instead we can say Those kids were terrible today, so switched off. When seeking reasons for this technology in general, not just the internet can be an easy scapegoat. I wonder how Rousseau or Dewey would have used the internet How might it have shaped Emile’s mind?
